The Royal Grammar School (Guilford) is a top academic school. It has excellent teaching and the GCSE and A-Level results are among the best in the country every year. The Times publishes a list of the“Top 400 British Private Secondary Schools”and The Royal Grammar School has ranked in the top 20 over the past 10 years. In 2018, it ranked 14th and first among grammar schools in a list published by The Telegraph.
Over the past ten years, on average: 90% of students got A*/A in GCSEs, more than 80% of students got A*/A at A level and 346 students have been admitted to Oxford University and Cambridge University, with an average admission rate of 30%.
